In very windy conditions, Caroline managed to qualify for the final of the tournament despite the loss of the 1st set and also the fact she hit no less than 37 UE, which is too much, I think. She has to cut it off if she wants to win the Eastbourne title and going in a winning mood at SW19 ( Wimbledon ). She hit 27 winners though when her opponent only hit 12.
Caroline will meet the French Virginie Razzano in the final. In the semis she beat her countrywoman Marion Bartoli. This will be her 5th final of the year and hoping she will win it because on the 4 previous finals she played, she only won Ponte Verda Beach.
